Community Support Connections needs volunteers:

Grocery Shoppers: Help our clients receive the groceries they need by volunteering with our Escorted Grocery Shopping program. You would provide a ride for a client to and from the grocery store as well as offer assistance while shopping and carrying groceries into their home. Two-hour shifts available at various times throughout the week, daytime, Monday through Friday – you let us know what works for you! Drivers: Help take our clients to the important places they need to go, such as medical appointments or lab visits.  We provide clients both in-town and out-of-town specialist appointment rides. Meals on Wheels: Help deliver hot and frozen meals to clients throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge. Meals are delivered to clients Monday to Friday over the lunchtime hours. You can choose a regular weekly route or become a spare, only being called when we need routes covered. We offer mileage reimbursement for all driving positions.
